Abstract:

The Yellowstone River Conservation Districts Council commisioned the creation of digital aerial orthophotos and the digitization of historic aerial photographs of the Yellowstone River corridor. New photography was flown for the river downstream from Springdale in 2011 and in 2004/2007, when half of the region was flown each year. Historic air photos from 2001, 1999, 1997, 1977, 1976, 1973, 1954, and 1948-1951 were scanned and georeferenced, and some of these were orthorectified.
